- 2020 New Electric and Hybrid definitions/descriptions for existing codes "E,C,H and I" 4th letter code in ACRISS Car Classification system (Matrix) to help with the different variations of EV and Hybrid cars (plug-in)
- 2020 New VDSI Transfers Health and Safety Standards in response to new global and local regulations and requirements putting customers and staff safety first.
- 2021 ACRISS converted to a UK Economic Interest Group (UKEIG) following end of Brexit transition period. New updated Constitution reflects this change and some other minor updates in line with current up to date requirements.
- 2021 ACRISS and its members proposed, developed and agreed to an online car rental check-in feature enabling car rental companies to improve the process, reduce time and limit time at the counter with health and safety of both the customer and staff in mind.
- 2022 ACRISS updated its Environmental page with a new CO2 Emissions guideline based on CO2 emissions average by category. This is a precursor to our new traffic light system of low to high emissions using a traffic light colour coding.
- 2022 Review and update to EV coding in the ACRISS Car Classification system "E" and "C" 4th character fuel type, supporting electrification and ensuring codes are future proofed. Update to "Optional Extras, Special Equipment and Ancillaries codes list including new equipment code needed for electric vehicles.
- 2023 New Traffic Light CO2 Emissions Efficiency Guide coding exising CO2 emissions data into categories A+ to F for emissions from Green for zero emissions to Red for high polluting cars making it easier to identify greener cars.
- 2023/2024 New Commercial Van and Truck Guidelines using existing matrix to provide coding for commercial/cargo vehicles from vans to full size trucks that you can drive with a regular licence. We recently added more guides for mining trucks.
- 2024 New equipment added to Optional Extras, Special Equipment and Ancillaries codes" list to support commercial vans and trucks including boxes, blankets, furniture trolleys and hand trucks.
